  Migraine
A migraine is a very painful headache that may cause throbbing on a specific part of the head. Patients are also sensitive to light and sound when they have migraines. They may also develop nausea. There are many triggers to a migraine including anxiety and stress. There are some types of migraines that are effectively treated at Doctor Kares with local trigger point injections. Also psychology and counseling services help those patients with underlying stress or anxiety.

Carpal Tunnel
Carpal Tunnel syndrome is a compression of the median nerve that can be caused by excessive use of computers, use of electronic hand tools and other repetitive strains. Patients suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome have wrist pain and may develop decreased grip strength that makes it difficult for them to perform manual tasks. The muscles at the base of the thumb may also waste away in chronic or untreated carpal tunnel. At Doctor Kares, we are one of the few places in the region that performs endoscopic carpal tunnel release for quick and effective correction to this growing problem.

Facial Pain or Trigeminal Neuralgia
Patients who experience facial pain describe sharp, electric attacks that can last from seconds to minutes. This severe pain can come on while sleeping or eating, and leaves patients in constant fear of these unpredictable attacks. It may be accompanied with a characteristic muscle spasm. Doctor Kumar and his team at Kares have extensive experience in performing radiofrequency rhizotomies to treat this condition.

Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia is a difficult to manage condition in which patients feel constantly tired with muscle pain and tender points. The tender points are on specific parts of the back, shoulders, neck, hips, arms, or legs. At Doctor Kares, we use medications, trigger point injections and a combination of Eastern and Western modalities to help patients deal with the symptoms of this disease.

Heel Pain
Heal pain is typically caused by plantar fasciitis that is inflammation of a band of tissue at the bottom of the foot. Pain usually is on the bottom of the heel, worse upon arising, and increases over a period of months. It can be caused by structure of the foot and poor footwear and can be exacerbated by obesity. Treatment includes medications, injections and special footwear and orthotic devices.
