Before the treatment can begin, one of ourhighly trained specialists identifies the nerve causing the pain through a detailed physical examination, sometimes aided by imaging studies. Back, leg, or other pain than can often be cured with a nerve block, instead of through extensive surgery. We have an integrated team of surgeons and interventional pain specialists at Doctor Kares and approach your problem first with the least invasive option available. These procedures may be performed using digital fluoroscopic imaging and are always done by specialists who have extensive training. Many of the procedures can be performed on an outpatient basis.
