M L Kumar Memorial Medical Trust was formed in 1989 in the memory of Shri Manohar Lal Kumar (1910-1976), who led an inspired life of vision, action and principles. The mission of the Trust is to serve humanity by linking their needs with health care, community development services and education as the situation warrants in the fields of preventive and curative medicine.
As the community grows, so does the demand for affordable quality healthcare. In these changing times, M L Kumar Memorial Medical Trust has made a promise to provide a forum for educational exchange on health related issues and help bring to public and scientific community the knowledge of emerging and rediscovered technologies that enhance the quality of life of society at large.
Over the years, M L Kumar Memorial Medical Trust has organized medical lectures, spiritual discourses, charity drives and social activities. On an ongoing basis, the Trust provides subsidized and free medical care to those in need. Previously, the Trust has worked in concert with Lotus Link Foundation, Inc of USA and helped establish not-for-profit health care institutions in India and abroad. Specifically in India, equipment assistance has been provided to B.K.F. Hospital for Nephrology, Bangalore and S.M.H. Hospital, Delhi.
