You tell us! A few years ago, we changed our name from that of our promoters (Dr. Kumar and his family) into a name that personifies our commitment to provide our doctors with a professional environment and in turn our patients with doctors who care. Thus was born, Doctor Kares Hospital. We would like to think we are completely egalitarian, but we carried forward the K as a nice founder’s legacy.

Why was Doctor Kares Hospital established?

“Despite being a neurosurgeon I believe that the surgical procedure should never be used indiscriminately. My desire for finding non-invasive and minimally invasive solutions for pain culminated in creating Doctor Kares where surgery is reserved as a final option. At the time there was no free standing pain management facility offered for patients in New Delhi and the need for such an establishment encouraged me to create Doctor Kares (earlier known as Kumar Pain Management and Neurosciences Centre).”
